APPLICATION PROCESS

Are you looking for a new job and have you applied to Orion Engineering? Then we understand that you are curious about what happens to your application. We take you through it step by step. The application process at Orion Engineering consists of slightly different elements than the usual process. Why that is, you can read below.

1. Application

Thank you for your interest in one of our vacancies! After you have sent your application successfully, our recruiters will send you an email confirming your application within a few minutes. So keep a close eye on your inbox!

2. Resume selection

We will carefully consider your application and start assessing your CV. We will look at your work experience, education and certificates and of course whether they match the vacancy. After our check, one of our recruiters will contact you as soon as possible to tell you whether you will be invited to the next round: the interview.

3. Invitation for the job interview

You have the job interview with a Recruiter or Business Manager. The meeting will take place at one of our locations in Eindhoven, Capelle a/d IJssel, Utrecht or Apeldoorn. The purpose of the interview is to get a clear picture of the position and the organization. Of course we are also curious about you. In this step of the process, it becomes clear whether Orion Engineering and you are a match. If that’s the case, we go to the next step. This is also the time for you to indicate your specific wishes.

4. Introducing your profile to the client

After a positive job interview, we will start calling our partners. We will discuss your profile with the clients you find interesting and schedule an interview with the hiring manager.

5. Preparation

Yes, you can have an interview with the client! Prior to the interview with the client, we plan a preparatory meeting. We don’t just let you go to the client, we prepare this thoroughly together. In this meeting, we will give you guidelines, tips and tricks and we will help you with the questions you can ask the client. Naturally, we will tell you even more about the organisation and the position. This way, you can go into the interview with your potential new employer with a good feeling.

6. Interview

This interview takes place at the client’s office. You will talk to the manager of the department where you might going to work for. Consider this interview as a second job interview. During this interview, you will get to know the organisation and the manager. This is the moment for you to ask questions and see if you see yourself working for this organisation.

7. Offer & contract

Well done! Your interview has gone great and you have received an offer. The only thing left to do is to make the client’s offer concrete. And of course the contract! We also support you personally in this step. We can take the negotiations off your hands and make sure the contract meets your requirements.
