Working as a Marine / Offshore Engineer: what does it mean?

As a Marine / Offshore Engineer you will be working on challenging maritime and/or offshore projects and you will be offered tasks such as:

Preparation and development of drawings, specifications, quotations and designs
Transferring designs and drawings to executive departments
Monitoring the progress and cost control of projects
Reporting on the progress of projects to clients and managers
Informing and consulting with project leaders, engineers and other involved parties
Managing contractors and any other parties involved
