Function
As an Electrical and Software Engineer you take responsibility for a new project where you going to study, interpreting and discuss the command functionality of the technical electrical and software feasibilities. In your role you will have assisting, supporting and executing tasks. You are going to assist the right control system strategy and hardware requirements. Support setting up the control IO list after that you will execute the I/O test of the unit. You are going to work with EPLAN Electric P8 to create electrical documentation as electrical diagrams, cabinets layout, components, cabling for the execution of electrical installation of the skid by subcontractors.
In the role you will test a dry run the software before commissioning. Beside that you will supervise and analyze quotations from electrical subcontractors. You are also in contact with the stakeholders of the new project because you will communicate with sub-contractors during the productions and will plan the execution of the project with the Project Engineer. When the project is done, you will start to apply learnings and improvements to progress future projects. Lastly you will develop standard modules and control blocks for the standardization project.
Requirements
As an Electrical and Software Engineer, you recognize yourself in the following requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or equivalent
– 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering
– Knowledge of control systems, PLC, E-Plan platform
– Speaking and writing fluently in English, (Dutch and German Optional)
– Strong independent thinking, organizational and planning skills
