Introduction
Are you a Safety and Compliance Specialist that guides a product design team to deliver safe and compliant designs to customers in the semiconductor industry? Then you are the Machine Safety and Compliance specialist we are looking for!
Function
As a Machine Safety and Compliance Specialist you work closely together with development engineers in multi-disciplinary projects. You are the go-to person in development projects on safety and compliancy deliverables. In this position you will fulfil an important role in working with customers on identifying the compliancy requirements. Together with a group of engineers you will translate norms/standards to design guidelines, assess compliancy of designs and approve them. You keep track of relevant norms and standards and deploy this towards the competence teams. This makes it important to maintain and participate in relevant industry networks.
Requirements
Furthermore you have at least a Bachelor of Science, Preferably Master of Science with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience with norms and standards for high tech equipment, preferably in semi-conductor domain. In addition to your responsibilities, the following items are required:
- You are able to lead safety risk assessments and compliancy audits
- You can stand firm based on thorough assessments
- You like to give trainings on safety and compliance topics
- You have effective communication skills and proficient in English, and preferably Dutch
- You are a team player, in the own company and towards clients, partners and suppliers
