Function
As a PCB Tester you are part of the test team. Your objective is to guarantee the quality and operation of assembled print panels and end products. You do this by means of (electronic) measuring and testing equipment. You will build and prepare test rigs, carry out repairs (such as replacing parts and repairing faulty connections) and order and collect the necessary materials from the warehouse.
Your duties also include:
- Reading or interpreting product documentation and test instructions
- Working with test programs, building and preparing the test set-up
- If applicable, minor repairs to test equipment, fixtures and auxiliary tools
- Testing and adjustment of assembled products using the required test, test set-up and/or measuring equipment for functional functioning
- Finding faults in assembled systems that go wrong during testing
- Filling in the processing status, repair forms and quality registration form
Requirements
As a Test & Repair assistant you are solution-oriented and you always strive to quality. You are good at organizing and planning your work and technology holds no secrets for you. You have a hands-on mentality and you easily make connections. We also ask for:
- Completed secondary vocational education in the direction of Electrical Engineering and Mechatronics
- Experience from a similar role is a plus
- Experience with reading technical drawings and work instructions
- Good communication skills in English
- Full-time availability
In this position you will work in a two-shift roster. The working hours of this roster are:
- Early shift: Monday to Friday from 06.00 AM to 14.50 PM
- Late shift: Monday to Thursday from 14.40 PM to 24.00 AM, on Friday you will work from 14.40 PM to 21.30 PM and start your weekend early!
