Function
As a Proto Technician you work both on the mechanical and electrical fields. You are responsible for creating complex modules and cabinets from start to finish. You test the products yourself and then hand them over to the quality inspector for inspection. The products will be used for the High Tech and Medical industry. Together with your fellow Engineers, you make the work instructions, you contribute to solving problems and you implement improvements in TPD. Parts of your work in this position are:
- Building, adapting, re-designing and checking new systems and test setups to be developed on the basis of technical drawing
- You work both within a Grade 4 class cleanroom and outside it
- You participate in project teams to analyze and solve problems
- The work consists of building prototypes and small series
Requirements
As a Proto Technician you are accurate, quality-conscious and you can work well in a team. We also ask for experience in a similar position in such as Proto Builder or Proto Mechanic. You have at least a completed technical vocational education, preferably in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, electrical engineering, aircraft maintenance, mechatronics or similar but we also invite you to apply if you have studied another direction and have sufficient experience with technology. You also have experience with reading technical drawings and diagrams and are fulltime available.
This department works in 2 shifts, the roster looks like the following:
- Early shift: Monday to Friday from 6am to 2:50pm (8am)
- Late shift: Monday to Thursday from 2:40 PM to midnight (8.5 hours) and Friday from 2:40 PM to 9:30 PM (6 hours)
