Function
As a System Architect you are part of the Design and Engineering group of the Embedded Systems department. Together with a team consisting of a project manager, software and hardware designers, you are responsible for the electronics part of the solutions that are developed and produced in cooperation with customers. In this position you fulfil an important role between the customer and the department. Frequent customer contact is an important part. You will be outlining specifications with customers, manage several juniors and teach them the tricks of the trade. You will identify and draw up product improvement proposals. You will be supervising the design, implementation, testing and documentation of any development project.
Requirements
Furthermore you have a bachelor or master degree in electronics. You have relevant work experience, for example as an electronics engineer. In addition to responsibility for the electronics part of solutions and customer contact, the following items are required:
- Experience with CE, EMC directive and UL standards
- Experience with quality techniques such as FMEA and MTBF
- Knowledge of development tools (e.g. Spice, Matlab, Altium, DXdesigner)
- Knowledge of components and PCBA production techniques
- You have good communication and writing skills in Dutch and English
