Are you a detail-oriented engineer with a passion for electronics and problem-solving? Then you are the a Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Engineer that we are looking for!

Over het bedrijf

This position is open at one of the largest manufacturers of electronic modules and components for the medical and high-tech industry in the Netherlands. Within this organization, work is done at the "high complexity” level. With over 500 unique products across disciplines like electronics and RF.

Over de vacature

As a Root Cause Engineer, you work at the intersection of repair and diagnostics of defective electronic and mechatronic systems. Thanks to your technical analyses, complex products can be safely and efficiently put back into operation.

Wat breng je mee?

  • Performing in-depth failure analyses using tools such as FMEA, 8D, Ishikawa (fishbone diagram), 5 Whys, and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA).
  • Collaborating with production, quality, and development teams to implement structural improvements based on your findings.
  • Creating reports with conclusions and recommendations for preventive measures.
  • Using measurement and analysis methods, such as electron microscopy, X-ray, oscilloscopes, multimeters, or thermal cameras.
  • Improving repair processes by identifying common defect patterns.
  • Communicating with suppliers or customers about recurring failures and implementing corrective actions.
