Function
In this role you will gather, define, and write test- and requirement specifications. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of software for complex modules and machines. You will work with a code base of mainly C++. As an Embedded Software Engineer you will work in an international team together with soft- and hardware engineers. Furthermore you will:
- Seek for ways to improve products and procedures regarding to extendibility, testability, and re-use
- Design and implement software that is efficient, clean, and easy to test
- Work on projects closely related to Motion Control Systems, Precision Equipment and Robotics
Requirements
As an Embedded Software Engineer you have knowledge of real time operating systems and image processing. You have the ability to maintain an overview and have quality awareness. Besides that, you have a good control of the Dutch and English language, spoken and written. Furthermore you have:
- A Bachelor or Master’s degree in a relevant field (for example Embedded Systems, Computer Science, Electronics, Informatics)
- At least 2 years of experience in full lifecycle software development
- Experience with C++ and objected oriented software development
- Experience with high tech complex machine control
